For Sexuality Educators

Comprehensive sex education should be accessible to everyone, and that means disability-inclusive curricula and programs that meet learners where they are.

Whether you're a sexuality educator, health educator, or school-based professional, we are here to support you in making your work more inclusive and accessible for students with disabilities.

Curriculum Development

If you are creating a new sex education curriculum, or need help adapting an existing one, we can help.

1

Curriculum Review & Adaptation

Have an existing curriculum that you want to adapt for a specific disability type? Or would you like a general review of your materials to ensure it's designed with accessibility in mind? We can help you identify the gaps and make your curriculum work for a broader range of learners.

What's included with a curriculum review:

  • A full review of your existing materials for accessibility and disability inclusion

  • Specific, actionable recommendations for adapting content

  • Guidance on language, format, and delivery approaches

Reviews are available for individual units, full curricula, or specific program components.

2

Accessible Curriculum Development

Need to build something new? Looking for a subject matter expert to develop a course or module?

We offer curriculum development services for organizations and educators who want sex education materials designed with disability inclusion built into the curriculum.

Custom curriculum projects may include:

  • Lesson plans and facilitator guides

  • Online course content development

  • Adapted handouts, visual supports, and other learner material

  • Disability-specific supplements for existing programs

  • Educator training materials to support program delivery

Working with Nellie Galindo at Accessible Sexual Health was easy and comfortable. I appreciated her flexibility with my limited budget and quick turnaround. She gave detailed feedback and concrete, achievable suggestions. I am grateful to have had her input as a subject matter expert on our team’s project.
